Hazardous Materials (HazMat) Endorsement (H) ELDT – Theory Course

Course Overview

Commercial drivers with a Hazardous Materials (H) Endorsement are among the most sought-after professionals in the transportation industry. The ability to safely transport hazardous materials opens the door to specialized career opportunities in petroleum transportation, chemical distribution, aviation fueling, industrial supply, and other sectors that often offer increased earning potential.

Craft Masters Academy's Hazardous Materials (HazMat) Endorsement ELDT Theory Course is designed to satisfy the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) knowledge requirements for individuals seeking a Hazardous Materials (H) endorsement on their Commercial Driver's License (CDL).

Developed in accordance with FMCSA regulations and approved Training Provider Registry (TPR) standards, this online program provides the mandatory theory instruction required before taking the state-administered HazMat knowledge examination.

Upon successful completion of the course and final examinations, student records are submitted to the FMCSA Training Provider Registry (TPR). Students may then proceed with the required state testing process and any additional federal requirements, including the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) background assessment, where applicable.

This course provides ELDT theory training only and does not include DMV testing fees, fingerprinting, TSA background checks, or any additional state licensing costs.
